Last December we adopted Stella or as you know her, Stocking. She came to us post puppies with a terrible burn. Well as you can see, she has mended completely in all ways. It took over 6 months for the burn to fully heal and where it was the worse the fur won't grow back. She has such beautiful thick fur though, by keeping her coat full it pretty much blends in. The hair that did grow back was dark red but through the past year it has lightened to an apricot. She is such a great dog...sweet, smart and very happy. Her and Casey really are best friends. They check in with each other by tapping noses and are very polite about sharing food and even their blankets...like two peas in a pod. When they play rough, anyone in their way better take cover! She has pretty much learned from Casey how to rule the roost..so much so that she sits in our front window when we go out, Its just like having a sheep in your window! What my neighbors must think and our mail men think its hysterical!
Anyhow, just wanted to say Merry Christmas and update you on this very special dog. Our poodles are just great dogs. Hope you have a great 2012.
